About Melissa
Melissa Glim designs beautiful jewelry and tiaras influenced by the nature of her home state, Vermont, as well as the the artisans of the Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts movements of the early twentieth centuury. Melissa is also indebted to her mentor Giorgos Xenarios and his classical Greek designs. She studied silversmithing and jewelry design at the 92nd Street Y, primarily under the expertise of Honey Jeanne Laber. Melissa's designs have been included in juried student art shows at the 92nd Street Y and at the Y's 75th Anniversary Celebration Juried Art Show.
When not at her bench, Melissa can be found advocating for public health in Washington DC or playing with her dog, Annie.
